Thanks for your interest in joining us at the upcoming 247 TO GO Workshop in Bakersfield.

The purpose of the 247 TO GO Workshop is to:

• Draw attention to "unengaged" Muslim people groups.
• Get believers thinking strategically and deliberately about how these groups might be engaged.
• Challenge folks to "take the plunge" into doing something about the unengaged.

Ultimately, we are passionate about finding pioneering types who will launch church-planting efforts among one of Frontiers’ Priority 50 unengaged Muslim people groups.

Workshop facilitators will include veteran field leaders from some of the world’s least-reached regions such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and North India.

This is not a “talking head” conference. It’s called a “Workshop” because you will be expected to work. There is prayer and thinking and encouraging to be done.

Here’s an overview of the schedule:

Friday Night, March 12th
5:00 pm to 9:00 pm 

• Welcome and Introductions
• Dinner
• Presentation: The Challenge of Unengaged Peoples
• Obeying Jesus by Praying for the Unengaged
 

Saturday, March 13th
8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Morning:

• Prayer and Worship
• Brainstorming Session: Practically, how can God’s people “engage” specific unengaged Muslim people groups?
• With the help of a field veteran, each table group will work to develop a preliminary strategy for engaging its "adopted" unengaged Muslim people group.

Lunch:  Breakout Groups - Dine and dialogue with field veterans and like-minded people who share your specific interests.

Afternoon:

• Discussion: What kind of person does God use to do this kind of work?
• Passionate Prayer: A chance to respond to God
• The Beginning: Dismissed to go home... and on your way to the unengaged!

Workshop Fee:   $39 per person 

This includes all meals and materials.  It will be money well spent.
